"ON THE WATERFRONT" The Most Easterly B&B in North America!! These rustic former fisherman's premises including; twyne store, stagehead, and beach front have been converted to; a unique Bed & Breakfast, yacht marina, and campsite. They have million dollar veiws and are only 15 to 18 minutes walk to the downtown of historic St. John's.
"It's like being on a ship". Facilities include small; wooden ship like cabins/bedrooms, sauna, and jacuzzi bath tub suite. Enjoy; Newfoundland home cooking and iceberg ice drinks, high speed internet, DVD, digital cable TV, wood stove and fireplace, and a chesterfield built into an indoor section of solid cliff of the base of Signal Hill. Non smoking. Free Parking.
Outdoor facilities include; our sun deck, "The Newfoundland Riveria", with seasonal views of; ice bergs, whales, seals, sea otters, ducks and more. On a daily basis, enjoy; weight training, sun tanning, BBQ and the ever changing scenes, sounds and scents of; drifting fog, seaweed, and wave water patterns caused by; tide rips, winds and the endless passage of ocean going vessels.
Enjoy hiking? We are on the North Head Trail to Cabot Tower on Historic Signal Hill! This is a City section of the fabulous East Coast Trail of which the B&B host is a Life Member, trail blazer, and supporter since 1995.
This facility is owned and operated by Bruce Peters, sea captain, world traveler and adventurer.
Single and double accommodations. Prices range from $85.00 to $140.00 per day plus 3% City of St. John's Accommodation Tax. Minimum two day stays. We offer off season long term rentals. Please book early as our space is limited. Open May 15th to October 31st.
